I spend 1.5-2.5 hours for each client. It is definitely longer than most of the local salons around but I have a reason for that. The duration all depends on such as your nail conditions, types of gel application, design intricacies and a detailed consultation. 

I want to make sure I spend enough time to understand each client’s needs and they walk out satisfied!

First, it’s hard to explain what Russian manicure is, as I think there’s many different definitions out here. I do NOT offer the extreme cuticle cleaning which you may find as a typical process (especially advertised a lot on social media).  Personally I do not believe that is the ideal method of nail preparation, if you consider your client’s nail health. I have built my own way to ensure you a perfect clean look. However I do structure building technique to form the base gels, which is also explained in Russian manicure process. 

I use hard gels for the top coat. Hard gels don’t soak off with acetone so they need to be filed off. I like using hard gels for top coat because they do not get dull easily and the nail shine lasts longer. Also due to its thick consistency it create strength and durability to your nails. However it’s not always ideal for all clients. I always check the nail conditions and decide what’s the best to apply. 

For your reference, I use a semi-hard gel for base coats (from Japan!) This is a hybrid gel of soft and hard gel, which has great strength but always be able to soak them off. Who doesn’t think these are super versatile! 

For chipping, lifting, gems falling off, or any other issues after the service, I can fix it for free if that happens with ONE WEEK. After this I will have to charge you by service duration.
